UVB Phototherapy
- Narrowband Ultraviolet B (UVB) light is a time tested & effective therapy for many skin conditions, including psoriasis & eczema.
- We offer a stand-up booth as well as a hand & foot unit.
- Treatments are usually 3 times a week for several weeks.

Excimer UVB Light
- Narrow band Ultraviolet B (UVB) light in a hand-held, concentrated beam.
- Targets small or hard to reach areas, such as the scalp, palms, & soles
- Treats alopecia areata, vitiligo, lichen planus, hypopigmentation, and other inflammatory skin conditions.
- Treatments are usually twice a week for 6 weeks.

Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)

Botox® for Excessive Sweating

Photodynamic therapy (PDT)
- combines aminolevulanic acid (ALA) & blue light to remove actinic keratoses (AKs) which are precancerous cells in the skin.
ALA is a light sensitizer absorbed by precancerous cells in the skin.
ALA is activated by blue light, & produces heat to kill the damaged cells.
PDT may also be used to treat inflammatory acne & some forms of rosacea, as the ALA is also preferentially absorbed by oil glands.
When used to treat precancerous damage, it is often covered by insurance.
We recommend PDT every 1-2 years to keep the skin clear of precancerous damage.

Botox® for Excessive Sweating

Botox® helps excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) by reducing sweating by blocking the nerve signals to the sweat glands.
This treatment does not interfere with healthy sweating elsewhere on the body & will help minimize the embarrassment & garment damage caused by sweat stains.
Botox® injections can be used to treat excessive sweat affecting the palms, soles, underarms & other areas.
The effect lasts for up to 9 months.
